Privacy, data, and safety boundaries
MonkTerminal aims to make access anonymous in a practical sense: it does not require an account, name, or email address. That does not mean the connection produces no technical data or that you should share identifying information.
What is stored to operate the service
The system stores data such as the IP address and technical browser information to calculate platform costs, debug, investigate problems, resolve errors, and protect the service. SSH records the SSH origin and IP address. Conversations with Monk are not monitored.
What you should avoid writing
Avoid full names, addresses, passwords, identity numbers, banking data, confidential workplace information, or details that are not necessary to understand the problem. You can replace people and places with general descriptions without losing the value of the conversation.
Limits of care
Monk is an AI and can be wrong. It does not replace medical, psychological, legal, or financial assistance, and it is not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, violence, or risk of harm, contact emergency services or someone who can be physically present.
